Ordering, FAQ's, Delivery, Returns & International Shipping Information

 

Ordering

All orders for Sunglasses Direct are taken online. Sunglasses Direct use a secure server from one of the most well respected hosting companies in the UK as well as using one of the most well-known companies in the world for our billing Sagepay. This system allows customers to buy online securely with peace of mind guarantee that all credit card details and customer information is secure.
Shipping & Delivery

Sunglasses Direct offer a simple and effective shipping pricing policy. All orders within the UK are sent Free of charge.
Delivery Timescales: The majority of our orders are sent out within 5 - 7 working days of placing your order with us. We do ask that customers allow upto 20 working days for delivery of your item(s). All customers will be informed by email when their goods are dispatched, when they will be delivered and the unique Royal Mail tracking number so that customers can track the progress of their parcel online.  Under our terms and agreement of trading with Royal Mail we must wait 28 days in order to put in a claim (as sometimes items turn up within this timescale). All non deliveries must be notified to us by email at ask@sunglassesdirect.co.uk informing us of this non delivery. 
Returns

Defective Products: Sunglasses Direct guarantee the authenticity and quality of all our designer sunglasses. If a product is defective please contact us and we will arrange for a free replacement to be sent out to you after you have returned the original item to us. In the instance the product is found to be defective we will reimburse you for the cost of the postage and issue a replacement product.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. You do not need to give us any reason for canceling your order.

To cancel your order you must notify us by e-mail at ask@sunglassesdirect.co.uk with your order number and customer name. We will then give you a return address for which the goods must be sent to and a Return Form which you need to complete. ALL returns must be sent by recorded delivery to ensure the parcel arrives, and the cost will be paid by the customer to send the goods back. Do not send parcels without informing us first as the return address is different to the registered address. The balance of the price paid will be reimbursed to you within 30 days of notification of cancellation by recrediting Your debit or credit card that was used for the initial order.

Sunglasses Direct offer one of the most secure ecommerce platforms and accept payments through Sagepay, the UKs leading payment processor. SagePay is one of the most well respected buying platforms in the UK. Viewing Orders

Customers can view their orders by logging in with the username and password that they created when they made their purchase. This will allow them to view the specific order details.
Updating Account Information

Customers can update their information by logging into their account and editing their details. Please note that goods will be sent to the shipping address given when placing you order. Any updates will be be used for subsequent orders only.
Frequently Asked Questions

I have receeved part of my order only, where is the remainder? On occasions where customers have ordered more than one product Sunglasses Direct will send parts of orders out to customers as a part of the order may not be in stock. If you have received part of your order you will be advised when the remainder is due in stock.
Where can I have my order delivered? We realise that with the pace of life today people have busy lives. We therefore give you the option to send an order to a different address. Many customers find this useful and use a work address or a relative's address to accept the parcel and sign upon receipt.
International Delivery

We offer a Royal Mail International Signed For™ delivery to European countries and other countries throughout the World. We do not ship to the Far East of Africa unless the customer is a UK citizen and has a valid UK billing address currently residing overseas. Please see below for the shipping costs. These will be automatically calculated at the checkout.

Shipping costs to all EU countries will cost £6.50
